Old School Workouts Work Best

The survey predicted that High Intensity Interval Training ( HIIT ) and bodyweight training will be the top two fitness trends of 2014. As Dr. Walter Thompson of ACSM states, it appears that people are going back to basics. HIIT uses short, intense bouts of activity with a short rest period. The programs use bodyweight exercises and are scalable, so that people can push their own pace and intensity during their workouts .
